Please read the following marketplace rules. Violations may result in your user account being blocked and penalty fees being imposed.

Bidding

Eligibility to Bid

• Only registered users who have met truckoo’s verification requirements can participate in the bidding process.

• Buyers must agree to the terms and conditions before placing a bid.

Placing a Bid

• Bids must be submitted through Truckoo’s designated platform or bidding system.

• Each bid is considered a binding offer to purchase the vehicle or goods at the bid price including the truckoo service fee.

• Buyers may be required to provide payment information or a deposit to validate their bid.

Bid Acceptance and Confirmation

• Each bid can be accepted by the seller within the binding bid period of 3 days.

• The highest, running bid at the close of the bidding period is generally accepted, unless the seller decides otherwise. However, Truckoo reserves the right to reject any bid.

• Once a bid is accepted, the buyer receives a confirmation via email or the platform.

• The acceptance of a bid constitutes a legally binding purchase agreement between the buyer and Truckoo.

Payment Terms for Accepted Bids

• Payment details, including the amount, method, and deadline, are provided upon bid acceptance.

• Full payment must be made within the specified timeframe to complete the purchase, latest 1 day before vehicle pickup.

• Failure to pay within the stipulated period may result in the cancellation of the bid and potential penalties.

Withdrawal and Cancellation of Bids

• Once a bid is submitted, it cannot be retracted unless the buyer informs truckoo of a valid reason of cancellation within the next hour and in writing.

• Truckoo may allow cancellations under specific conditions, potentially involving fees up to 7.5% of the vehicle purchase price.

Responsibilities and Liabilities

• Buyers are responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient funds to cover their bids.

• Any fraudulent activity or failure to fulfill the purchase agreement may result in legal action or account suspension.

Inspection and Condition of Goods

• Details about the condition of the vehicles or goods being sold are provided beforehand.

• Buyers are encouraged to carefully review condition reports before bidding.

• Once the bid is accepted, the buyer accepts the goods in the described condition unless otherwise stated.

Vehicle Parking Fees

• Buyers are responsible for ensuring an immediate pick up of the purchased vehicle at the designated pickup location

• Truckoo is entitled to charge vehicle parking fees from the buyer from the 21st day after release for collection

• The amount of the parking fees is 10€ per day to be paid before vehicle pick up

Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from the bidding process are subject to the dispute resolution terms outlined in the general terms and conditions.

• Truckoo provides a process for handling disputes, which may include mediation or arbitration.

Truckoo Service Fee Specifics

Overview of Service Fee

• The service fee is a charge applied by Truckoo for facilitating transactions on their platform.

• It covers various services provided by Truckoo, such as the inspection, listing, marketing, transaction processing, and customer support.

Calculation of the Service Fee

• The service fee is usually a percentage of the final sale price of the vehicle or goods.

• The exact percentage or fee structure is specified in the terms and conditions or the purchase agreement.

• In some cases, a minimum or maximum fee may apply.

Application of the Service Fee

• The service fee is applied to the buyer upon the completion of a successful transaction.

• It is typically included in the final invoice provided to the buyer.

• Buyers are responsible for paying the service fee in addition to the purchase price of the goods.

Payment of the Service Fee

• Payment terms for the service fee are outlined in the purchase agreement.

• The service fee must be paid within the specified timeframe, usually alongside the payment for the goods.

• Accepted payment methods for the service fee are the same as those for the goods, such as credit card, bank transfer, or other specified methods.

Refunds and Adjustments

• In case of a cancelled transaction or return of goods, the service fee may be refundable, subject to Truckoo’s refund policy.

• Any adjustments to the service fee, due to disputes or changes in transaction details, will be communicated to the buyer.

• Failure to pay the service fee may result in penalties, including suspension of the user account and legal action.

• Truckoo provides clear information about the service fee on their platform and in the purchase agreement.

• Buyers are encouraged to review this information and ask any questions before placing a bid.

Additional Charges

• The service fee is separate from other potential charges, such as shipping, taxes, and import duties, which buyers are also responsible for.
